Question 1

A lot of complaints about the key layout "backspace is too small, enter too big, etc" in the comments. None of these issues are present in the picture of the keyboard. So my question is, is the keyboard pictured actually the one you get? I've seen the same model listed on other sites, but I have the same concern, as it's the same situation. Complaints about the product that the picture seems to dispute.

The image looks like it might be the slim version actually. I accidentally ordered a slim one once.  The slim has the same proportions when you're looking down at it, its just got shorter keys, more like a laptop 10 years ago.  Anyway, both of them have a very standard/classic layout.  I don't know what those complaints are talking about.  It's as standard as it gets.

Are the keys on this keyboard springy or spongy?

Yeah, they're springy.  Great for typing.  I'm a programmer and I have one at work and in the office.

Question 3

DOES KMW 64370 COME WITH THE USB ADAPTER OR IS THAT PURCHASED SEPARATLY?

I ordered 2 assuming the usb to ps2 adapters were included and Kennsingtons package states "USB/PS2 adapter" is "inside". Newegg told me to contact Kennsington - I needed the adapters right away, so I sourced them locally and never pursued the issue with Kennsington. So at least in Dec. 2013 Kennsington was forgetting to put the adapters in the boxes. The keyboards I received were good, but USB only.
