The keyboards hot-swappable socket is compatible with almost all the MX style 3pin and 5pin mechanical switches on the market (including Gateron, Cherry, Kailh, Panda, etc.).The pre-installed tactile Keychron Brown switch providing unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke durable lifespan.

The C2 Retro hot-swappable mechanical keyboard combines a traditional full-size 104-key layout with the flexibility to change compatible MX-style 3-pin and 5-pin switches without soldering. This non-backlit version comes with mechanical switches and ABS keycaps in a classic colorway. A USB-C wired connection provides dependable, cable-powered operation, while the Mac-optimized layout remains compatible with Windows and includes alternate keycaps for both operating systems. The 1000 Hz polling rate supports responsive input, and the inclined frame with adjustable feet offers 6- and 9-degree typing angles. A keycap puller and switch puller are included for setup.
