Does this have a hard drive?

This unit does not come with a hard drive. I also purchased a 1TB Seagate hard drive for $59 for this unit. I am also purchasing KGuard KG24-100V 100ft. Camera Extension Cable for $21.99. I paid $129.99 for the unit on sale, and even with all three items I am still under $225. The same unit with a 500GB hard drive is $342.34 here on Newegg. So, I say this is a very good deal.

Does it inclu deThe HDD?

No, and in my case it also needed the bracket to install the HD. I am sure my situation was a fluke, but it has slowed down the possibility of use of the item. If you do buy and install a HD , may I suggest the Red Nas Hard Drive in either 1 or 2 GB size as these units are made to run around the clock. I've used other types and brands in different units and usually was replacing them in 3 to 6 months. I hope this helps with ure decision. The Red HDD refers to this or any other surveillance kit.
