Pros: The number one pro about kingston ValueRAM is that you know it's just going to work at the advertised JEDEC speeds. It's truly plug and play.
Cons: The only con is a con specific to my build. I had previously ordered 2 of these sticks KVR16N11/4, and the PCB was blue, which matched the PCB's of both my video card and MB.
It matched so well I thought I would order 2 more for a total of 16GB... Well, these 2 showed up with a green PCB and they are low profile sticks as to where my other ones are standard size....
Now, they work just fine together and they all have the same part number, Aesthetically however, it truly degrades the look of my PC.
I would just love it if a Kingston Rep read this and would swap my sticks for a Pair with BLUE PCB's.
Unfortunately, only way to get a manufacturer response is with a one egg review... This RAM is too good to do that to.
Overall Review: Other thoughts, I should have just bought a quad channel kit.
Overall Review: I put this into my friends computer as a gift, and it worked perfectly with the other brand of ram that was in there. Works like a charm.
Pros: Fit empty slot, system recognized automagically.
Cons: no noticeable difference in performance in what I use desktop for.
Overall Review: less tall than the 4GB Samsung RAM that came with my Dell Inspiron 660s, this added 4GB memory fit perfectly into the available 240 pin MoBo slot. Win8 saw the new RAM and began using the doubled capacity with no manual configuration needed.
Pros: I’m running 2 of these on an Intel DZ77BH555K Ivybridge board . Plug and play...Recognized as 1600 in BIOS by default. Stress tested with PRIME95. No issues. Fast enough for my needs.
Cons: Did not purchase from Newegg.
Overall Review: I don’t overclock and Kingston Value RAM has been reliable for me in the past so I’m sticking with it for now.

Pros: Tested 16GB (4 of these sticks) in both an MSI Z77 motherboard and an ASUS Sabertooth X79 board. Stress tested with Memtest HCI to 1000% with no errors while running Prime95, no BSODs or problems at all. Also tested with Memtest86+ - 10 passes with no errors.
