Intel side is typically processor slogan, this is memory. If you want to know if it is compatible with your system, you have to find your motherboard model and cross reference the compatibility with the memory.

Yes and no. Although a lower CAS latency yields faster accesses, it's only by a few nanoseconds, and the actual performance difference can't be seen by the end user. The number after DDR3 is more important in determining RAM speed, as that is the frequency at which it can be accessed.

The Kingston 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 1600 SO-DIMM RAM with a CAS latency of 11 is really more than enough to use for all sorts of applications--especially gaming on laptops.

Your question needs to be a lot more specific about which macbook pro you are asking about. Check with apple website to see what capacity and frequency dimms (memory modules) are supported. If it is in fact using DDR3, it is an Intel possessor generation and any PC parts will work (memory, hard drives, etc.) Assuming you acquire compatible parts. Hope this helps someone.

QNAP 251 suggest DDR3L instead of DDR3 which means you need the lower voltage memory sticks.  Also they recommend that you use the same type of memory stick on both slots including the same size.   So I would not choose this product for your QNAP 251.

Since I know nothing about that model, I'm not sure.  I have an old Acer Aspire 5100 BL51 with a Turion 64 X2 Mobile that came with a whopping 1GB RAM.  This memory fit and works just fine.

To all "will this fit / work" questions: To make sure components are inter-operable there are DDR memory specifications that detail voltage, speed, number of PINs on the SO-DIMM, etc. This means that ANY module matching these specifications SHOULD fit and work in your laptop, regardless of brand. For example, my Dell Alienware laptop takes DDR-3 204-PIN SO-DIMMs up to 1600 (DDR3 1600 is another way of saying PC3 12800--I know, confusing). This means that you should research your laptop online and determine the type of memory you need. As long as you buy memory that matches that specification (i.e., "DDR3 1600" or "DDR2 667") you should be fine. One another note: as long as you buy the correct DDR version (DDR2, DDR3) for your laptop, you can buy a FASTER module (1600 vs 1333, etc.) and it will still work, but it will slow down to your laptop's maximum speed (in this case, 1333). The only thing to really be certain of is that you're buying a LAPTOP memory module ("SO-DIMM"), as they are different (smaller) from that of desktops. Good luck!
