KC100 comes with Data Integrity Protection featuring DuraClass and DuraWrite technology to optimize endurance, performance, data retention and power consumption, plus advanced wear leveling and monitoring, with Flash recycling and garbage collection to maximize consistent performance over the life of the drive.
KC100 offers Enterprise SMART attributes to monitor drive performance and RAISE to detect and correct nearly 1 quadrillion times more errors than other SSDs. SandForce Driven Business-Equipped SSDKC100 utilizes the latest award-winning SandForce 2000 controller and SATA 6Gb/s interface to deliver exceptional performance and instantly boost the productivity of any client system – with read speeds up to 555 MB/s, writes up to 510MB/s (*240GB measured using ATTO Disk Benchmark 2.41) and 40,000/60,000 IOPS of Sustained Random 4k Read/Write performance (*measured using IOMeter08).
Endurance & LongevityUtilizing SandForce’s DuraClass technology, KC100 delivers world-class data integrity protection. DuraWrite technology optimizes writes to the flash memory over conventional controllers increasing the overall endurance and reliability of the complete SSD. Highly intelligent block management and wear leveling also extends the overall endurance.
DependableRAISE (Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements) writes data across multiple flash die to enable recovery from a failure in a sector, page or entire block, just like the concept of multi-drive RAID used in disk-based storage. With the combination of a superior higher-level BCH ECC algorithm with up to 55 bits/ 512 Byte sector protection and RAISE technology, KC100 reduces the probability of a single unrecoverable read error by 100 times to 0.001%. RAISE provides the protection and reliability of RAID on a single drive without the 2x write overhead of parity.
SecureThe KC100 self-encrypts to provide full and immediate client-level data encryption. With two embedded encryption engines, running in both AES-128 and AES-256, encryption is performed at the drive level without draining host system resources and slowing down data transfer rates.
Enterprise S.M.A.R.TThe KC100 offer enterprise-level S.M.A.R.T attributes. The SSD’s Reliability Tracking, Usage Statistics, Life Remaining, Wear Leveling, Temperature and Drive Life Protection can be monitored with industry standard and publicly available S.M.A.R.T monitoring tools.
