This is desktop ram for older mother boards.  This is not laptop, or netbook ram. You need something with 200 pin not 240 pin  Like DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 200 pin

Does this register as full 2gb stick on DP35DP motherboard? Other 2gb sticks only register as 1gb.

in fact it 100% will show you are using that amount of ram

it sounds to me you have issues, it could be the Ram Slots since you motherboard can take up to a max of 8gb worth of ram using all 4 slots so its possible that 3 out of 4 of your DIMM slots are bad or could be 1

it could also be that you are using a dieing ram stick or ram of different kits which is why it is best to buy ram as a pair vs by itself when possible

Yes. this is non-ECC RAM. It is mentioned in the Specifications as ECC | No. Also, most ECC RAM will have 9 memory chips present while this one only has 8.

It should be supported, Kingston units are generally compatible with HP units. Dell units are a different story.

I have an Asus P5Q-Pro motherboard will these work? Couldn't find an answer on the Asus site.

Yes, it will work. If you google the Asus P5-Q Pro the asus website says that the motherboard will support DDR2 memory (under the "memory features"). DDR2 is the form factor of this RAM and the motherboard supports both this form factor and the particular transfer rate of this RAM (800 MHz).

Note that it will take PC2 6400 Ram, and that's what this Kingston memory is. If you get two sticks of these, you will max out your computer's memory of 4GB.

Depends on what model of Apple...if Intel based then you should be OK so long as the specs match up.  I would recommend using a memory tool to find the correct one to fit your system.  Kingston has one on their website.
