I don't know; I bought it for a PC with an Intel motherboard.  Kingston's Web site has a relatively thorough search engine; you might be able to find the correct RAM for your machine and learn whether or not you need to install RAM in pairs.  It will probably help if you have the details on your motherboard.  Also, check to make sure you have open slots on your motherboard before you order.  Oftentimes, a manufacturer incorporates a motherboard that will accept a certain maximum amount of RAM, say for instance 8 GB, but will put four 2GB chips in each of the four available slots.  To upgrade the RAM, you may have to remove all four chips and install two 4GB chips.

Without knowing the make and model of your PC no one can answer your question. It's a 240-pin stick so that's a normal size for regular size (tower and desktop) PCs. It will not fit in a laptop.
