So I purchased this Based off what the Kingston website stated, that it would be compatible with the lenovo I am currently working with, but as it turns out this is not DDR3L, so it was not compatible can I exchange or do I have to go through the whole return and repurchase process?

I'm not sure what you mean, but I don't believe that really answered any of my questions?
