Pros: Just got this today, modular cables are the only way to go, I just connected what I needed and left the rest off. The bottom of the unit sends a nice glow down through the case, and up close it looks very cool.
Speaking of cool, I can't hear it over the rest of my fans, so it must be pretty quiet. It doesn't seem nearly as warm as my last one, which was a ****. It fits well into my Lian-Li PC-65.
If you have a blow hole on top of your case, it is possible that it will be in the way of one of the regular power connectors. The SATA and PCI-X are at the bottom though, so no worries there. There are extra regular connectors in case you want to send power on a separate line to your peripherals. I have 2 hard drives and the floppy on one line, 2 DVD roms and my fans on another, and I still have 2 unused connections!
Cons: May have one connector in the way of a blow hole fan, depending on your case.
Overall Review: I'll review again in a year, so you know if it was worth it.
Pros: very stable, no problems at all, i've had this for about 4-5 months now and no problems i keep my pc on 24/7 and only times i've ever have a shut down pc is from power outages but thanks for the ups so i can save shutdown properly quickly.
i think medium length cables not too long or too short.
doesnt get very hot at all either so :D
Cons: it isnt a con, but the blue lights,
a lil bright for my standards(but my standards are no lights at all.)
Overall Review: Buy this psu its great and the modular cabling is very nice.
Looks nice, we'll see with time though5/25/2007 7:14:45 AM
Pros: I like the look of it very much. I took it out of the box, and my first thought was that it looks better than my wife. Nice blue LEDs and shiny gunmetal case. The modular design is really nice, and it makes cable management really easy. Nice braided sleeving too.
Cons: The rails fluctuate a bit which is disapointing since my system doesn't even draw that much power! I watched it for a bit and it moved around from about 11.75V to 12.1 a lot, though never went outside those voltages so that's good I guess. I probably won't put any larger of a video card in with this PSU (I only have a 7600GT right now!).
Overall Review: Overall a fine PSU, just don't try SLI or an 8800 series card.
Pros: Came with a nice Rebate. Modular. Dual 12V rails.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I'm running multiple hard drives, video card requires a power source, and my system runs 24/7. Games such as Rise of Nations run without problems at the highest resolution. I'm totally happy with this unit.
Pros: This is just a follow-up review, I've been using this supply for more than 10 months now, and it's still going strong. Using it to to power a new 680i motherboard, intel E6600, 2GB DDR2/800, Geforce 7900GT, 2 raided 75Gb Raptors, 1 500GB and 1 250GB drives, and 2 16x DVD burners. I still have the Lian-Li PC-65 case, and have yet to experience any problems.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I also have a total of 4 case fans, a Arctic Cooler cpu fan, and one cold-cathode light.
Plenty of power to go around!
Pros: This thing is amazing... I have a gtx 470, 2 750gb wd caviar black hdd, an ocz ssd, a phenom II X4 black edition 955 overclocked at 3.8ghz, and 8 gigs of DDR3 ram, as well as 9 fans running on this baby! I haven't had a single problem with it and I've owned it for 6 yrs now!!
Cons: None!!
Overall Review: I'll definitely be buying a kingwin power supply for my next big upgrade! Good work guys! :D

Pros: Runs very cool and quietly, very stable, excellent look, the modular cables are wonderful. Cables are nice and long, even in my monster case they reach clear across diagonally.
Cons: So far I haven't seen any. If you have a small case, some cables could be in the way of a blowhole fan, though you could work around that if you didn't need to use all of the connectors coming out of the PSU.
Overall Review: I waited almost 18 months to review this to see if it held up after the first week, and this thing runs just as solidly as the day I got it. Top notch -- absolutely takes the cake for the 500W range.
I really couldn't ask for more in a PSU.
Pros: Well I said I'd be back in a year to let you know, so here I am. Still running great, now I have 5 hard drives hooked up to it, and haven't had any problems.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I'd buy this again, I like it a lot.
