Compared to other power supplies I've bought, I find it to be more on the quiet side. It's not completely silent, though, it has a very low winding sound.

Which pins are you asking about? There is one 6 pin pci express connector. and one 6 plus 2 pin if you need the second one.

Q: Are the PCIE connectors on two separate cords or coupled on the same one?

If I remember correctly, they are on the same core cable set, but branch out from each other and can be split separately, but from the box, they are pretty close together.

Q: It says that this is a ATX/BTX form factor so am I correct in assuming that it will fit properly in an both an ATX and a BTX form factor case?

Yes, I have an atx size case and it fits great. It's the average sized power supply you see in main stores. :)

Is the arrow on the 4 pin connector supposed to point @ the arrow on the 20 pin connector or the same direction?

I was going to give you a link to answer your question, but that's not allowed . google how to install power supply. to answer your question.  4 pin  arrow pointing to the 20 pin and the 20 pin arrow is pointing to the 4 pin.  
this is the 20 pin > and <  this is the 4 pin.
