Can this handle a 5TB disk?

I'm going to preface this by saying I've never used anything larger than 1TB so I'm not absolutely sure, BUT
I see no reason why it wouldn't work.  In the same way that USB ports are extended to the front of the tower, this tray allows you to slide your Sata I/II/III drive into the  tower from the front where it makes contact with a fixed in place data plug and power plug that are part of the tray.

How can I determine if this rack is compatible with my case?

This hot swap rack should fit any 5.25" single slot that a normal DVD drive would fit in.  It is only 7.25" deep too which is shorter than a lot of DVD drives.  This will not fit in a 3.5" drive bay.

It fits in a 5.25" slot just like a DVD drive.  That means the case has a removable cover over the slot.  All cases have at least 2 of these, mine has 5.  If you have 2 DVD drives and 2 slots, you have to choose.

Question 4

Does it come with the molex power connector or is that extra?

One can generally remove the disk from a running computer but not warm swap (hot swap is a misnomer - the disk must be quiesced -- inactive-- to swap it) a disk unless you have the proper MLB.

Bolts right into any 5.25" CD  ROM drive bay.

One can easily try to put the disk in backwards and damage the tray unit. I have come close on more than one occasion.

I tried it and it did not work.  I did not try very hard, and have never had success with the two other hot-swap units I tired.  I decided to buy pocket-size external USB hard drives. Also, it my case did not hold it securely in place, so it moved when I inserted a hard drive.

Hello,
        I would like to know if this Hot Swap Rack works as SATA3 with SATA3 hard drives? I don't want to use them if the Kingwin steps down to SATA2. I'm am thinking of using two of theses racks for 2x Western Digital Black EDT 4TB's Hard Drives in RAID 1. Thank you for your time.

Mine work fine in SATA 6. I would recommend not using these unless you install a fan for ventilation. There is almost no air circulation in most computer cases in the area where these go.

I am looking for the connector that splits from the molex to the power and the 4 pin to the back board. Anyone know where i can buy one? or a few?

You might try Cables 2 Go, they have lots of different splitters.  If you can't find that specific cable there, try Kingwin.  I have been able in the past to get some replacement parts from them.

Question 7

Anyone found a good 2.5" adapter for this rack? An adapter that provides good airflow by the 2.5" drive, but puts the connectors in the proper place for the SATA connections and provides easy swap?

I've only used it for 3.5", for 2.5" I like MRK-425ST-BK and it's cheap. Airflow in that in a decent case is sufficient.
