The WC-24 is for those who want home theater speakers that look as good as they sound. Compared to traditional center channels, Klipsch WC-24 takes up less space while still delivering high-output, low-distortion sound. In addition to employing an all-new proprietary technology “XT Tractrix Horn” to reduce a speaker’s width and depth, Klipsch WC-24 also features a timeless wood veneer cabinet finished in espresso or cabernet, which is made of an exotic, non-endangered Berlinia veneer from West Africa.
The WC-24 cabinet is carefully sanded, sealed, and stained (top coated with a polyurethane finish). This spray application involves 10 coats, with sanding in-between each coat to achieve the proper thickness. The cabinet is also inspected at every sanding level to ensure clarity over the stained veneer.
Slim StatureThe Klipsch WC-24 center speaker features a space-saving, slim design for a perfect match with your flat-panel TV, plasma monitors and other thin-line home cinema components. The all-new proprietary XT Tractrix Horn technology can dramatically reduce a speaker’s width and depth, and all the while delivering excellent output and dispersion.
Exceptional Sound QualityThe Klipsch WC-24 center speaker boasts dual 4.5" high-output, fiberglass cone woofers, a 1" titanium diaphragm compression driver mated to a 4.5" 80 x 80 round Tractrix(r) horn to deliver precise highs and amazing lows for crisp dialogue with dynamic impact. The XT engineering takes Klipsch’s time-proven philosophy to new heights by altering the surface geometry of the horn—making the WC-24 the true conversation piece of your home theater.
Magnetically ShieldedUsing magnetic grille with no visible fasteners on baffle, the magnetically-shielded Klipsch WC-24 can be put at any proximity to display devices such as TVs and LCD monitors without loss of sound quality caused by interference.

Overall Review: I was previously using Polk RM 95 as my home theater 5.1 speaker system. The Polk was pretty good however I got a feeling that probably the voices in movies could be a little better. I initially thought about Polk CS 10. But its to big and would not fit in my cabinet. Then I saw the Icon W series on sale and decided to make the switch although it was pretty expensive even after the sale price. I got two WB-14 bookshelf speakers as my front (separate review to follow) and this WC-24 as the center channel and decided to keep the two Polk RM 8 for the rear channels. I got the Expresso finish. Let me tell you the voices in movies are much clearer than my previous RM 8 center. The sensitivity is great and I can run my receiver now at a lower volume and still get better results. It seems the person speaking is actually in the same room as me. Further the look and feel of this speaker is exquisite. The Icon W series is probably the best looking speaker package available in the market.
