Does this have a 3.5 mm audio input jack?

No, it doesn't have a 3.5 mm audio input jack.  This sub only has a "RCA line in" and "L/R Speaker In" inputs.  Do a web image search for "Klipsch KW-100".  Images appear to be accurate.

Is this sub compatible with a Yamaha RX-V375 Receiver?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be.  Have you had issues with compatibility with that receiver before?  I've never heard of a subwoofer not being "compatible" with a receiver.

Question 3

1.  What are the exact exterior dimensions of this item - the site does not list any specifications, etc.
2.  I need to know the range - lows and highs - this product puts out.
3.  Am I correct that the KW-100 has a 400W output?  If not, then what is it?
4.  Does the product actually have a jet black finish?  And, is the finish dull, or does it have a shiny surface?
5.  I do not understand "down firing"  - how does this differ from other subwoofers that do not have down firing?

1) 13.5 " WIDTH, 13.5" DEPTH, 15.75 " TALL
2) There is a low pass filter knob on the back. 40-120HZ, so it must be able to go below 40. I would guess it is the normal 20HZ.
3)OUTPUT is 225 Watts as labeled on the back of my unit.
4)Finish is kind of speckly. Normal black for electronics. Compare to BOSE speaker finish. 
5)There is a port on the back of the unit, and the speaker is facing downwards, opposed to on the side. This means you get a more omni directional sound I believe, versus being able to point the speaker in different directions to fit your room. I've had both and think the bottom firing is probably a more universal fit.

Other items. Connections are speaker, L/LFE, or regualur Red jack. Mine uses the L/LFE.

Yes.  Your receiver has a standard Subwoofer pre-out which will connect directly to this sub.

Does this covers 1 year of Klipsch  Warranty?

Klipsch has a 2 year warranty on electrical components and 5 years on the speaker components themselves.  Klipsch is solid.

Question 6

The rest of the speaker world lists continuous watts rating as half of dynamic watts/dynamic twice the rating of continuous. Why, at 55 continuous watts isn't the dynamic watts 110 or why if 225 watts dynamic isn't the continuous rated at 112.5 watts?
How did this formula move from twice/half to roughly 4X/one quarter 55/225 watts?

In the real electronics world one should be looking at the RMS value and not the peak or dynamic value. This gives a 'True' indication of power handling.
