Can I connect these to my system with regular speaker wire?

Yes, the speakers themselves require no special connectors or adapters, you can use any regular 2-wire speaker wire and it will connect directly to the speakers.  I would recommend the speaker wire be in the range of 18-14 gauge.  As long as your system is adequate to drive these speakers then any wire that falls within that gauge range will work.

does Satellite speakers means wireless speakers? Does not need wires for all speakers?

No. The speakers for this system absolutely require wires. Typically, the term satellite speakers refers to smaller speakers that surround the room like satellites surround the earth. Also, these satellite surround speakers require a subwoofer to fill-in the lower range. These little speakers put out quite a bit of sound. I really like mine.

Question 3

I have a large open floor plan living area with 12ft vaulted ceilings. My seating area is about 15-18ft from the TV and I only have a wall on one side. The other side is open to the kitchen. My fear is that these speakers aren't enough for my space.  I have a Denon AVR S720W receiver and a Klipsch synergy 10" sub to pair with these. is the Quintet V enough for my space?

It depends on what you're looking to accomplish... These speakers are not ideal for your space, but they certainly will work. If you're looking for something just for general use with the occasional movie, that set up will be fine. If you're trying to replicate a movie theater experience and really want to be emersed by sound, you're going to need to double your budget and get a nice pair of floor and bookshelf speakers. The nice thing is you can easily buy those piece by piece so you're not dropping $500+ in one sitting. (start off with a nice 2.1 set up, then move up to 5.1 later)

Is this system wireless or do you need wires for the speakers ?

You'll need speaker cable. I believe I used 14 AWG for my particular set-up. Plan your cable management and take some measurements ahead of time. Better to have too much than run out of cable during your project.

Question 6

Anyone else have a problem hearing movie dialog?

Sometimes the center front speaker loses volume or power, but i thought that was my own receiver.  it doesn't happen often, but when it does i turn up the volume until it comes back, then turn the volume back down.  I'm no electrical engineer but my guess is that this means it's a resistance issue.  If this isn't the problem, Option #2 would be to increase the center speaker relative volume.

Is Polk Audio PSW505 Subwoofer is compatible with this v5.0?

It should be. I am using the same Klipsch speaker set with a wireless Polk Audio subwoofer PSWi225 with no issues.   Note that subwoofers are connected to or driven by a Receiver and any subwoofer can be connected. Hope this helps.

Question 9

I just received my Quintet "V". However, these don't appear to be V's. V's come with an attachable stand and the wiring posts are in a different position to more easily accommodate banana plugs. Can anyone confirm?

The IV comes with the mini stands and the rectangular tweeter horns and banana pluggable jacks.  Square tweet horns and no stands is a V as far as I know.
