Indeed they do come with a magnetically attached grill. Quite ingenious if I do say so.

Can you use them as front heights? If yes how would you mount them, vertical or horizontal?

I have not seen this, but I would think you could. The highs will project outwardly from the tweeters, so mounting them vertically would reflect off the ceiling and floor. This could be a good effect.

Can you hang them vertical for front heights.?  Can they be used for front heights, horizontal or vertical?

As built, they have a single eyelet that only supports horizontal mounting to a wall. That being said, were you to use a long enough bolt, you could aim them down at a sufficient angle that I believe  they would work well for front heights. My RC-10 center speaker is 6 feet up, but aims perfectly at the acoustic focal point if the room. I see no reason why the RS-10 couldn't perform similarly, so long as you're happy with a horizontal orientation.
