How is the viewing angle on this camera? A similar dome camera from LA View says it only has a viewing angle of 45.3 degrees, which doesn't seem like a lot for a dome camera. I'd like to mount one near the roof of my garage, but want to make sure I'll be able to cover the entire area of my driveway.

Frankly, it's not that great.

The camera works fine, but the viewing angle is indeed poor.

If you're looking for a wide angle type camera, I'd suggest the

TRENDnet TV-IP311PI. It has almost 90 deg of viewing area, works very well for wide outside viewing area. I have 2 on each end of my garage, and can see almost all of the area in front of my house

Is the camera fixed or can you rotate it via the software 360 also is the vertical angle adjustable via the software as well?

It's fixed, can't rotate / adjust angle via software.
