Pros: Has nice specs. It's small.

Cons: The mobile IOS App does not work and is required to set the camera up. The App says "User does not exist" though I created and User and can log onto LaView's web site. No response from the tech support ticketing system. Without the app, wifi networking info cannot be pushed to the camera so it's useless.

Overall Review: The camera also is not ONVIF. It never claimed to be. I'll be returning it.

Pros: It powered on, never worked.

Cons: Right out of the box, requires an app to configure. Strike one.... Power it up, down load the app, requires registration just to use. Strike Two Register, get confirmation email, set password, attempt to log in. User doesn't exist? Reset password, user still doesn't exist. Strike three, these are getting returned. I'll opt for a camera that doesn't require special apps or registrations to skim data.

Pros: *The cameras themselves seem to work pretty well (when they work). *The image is fisheye, so you can see 180+ degrees in all directions (185 degrees actually). This provides the ability to have a single camera monitor a larger area, that would require multiple cameras with narrower fields of view. The view is like one of those door peep holes. *Low cost of these cameras *Free 3-days of cloud storage *Ability to save recordings to an FTP server (a local NAS device or online FTP service)

Cons: *The LaView Pano app appears to work, however the cameras are constantly loosing connection with the server, so the app is useless since I cannot see the camera feeds via the app. Cameras will go offline and require resetting and reconfiguring often. *The motion detection is overly sensitive with no way to adjust sensitivity or block out areas it should ignore in the frame. *With overly sensitive motion alarm, your phone will be constantly alerting to motion, becoming the boy who cried wolf. You will end up needing to turn off the motion alarm. *The app V1.00.01R has not been updated since 19 January 2017, and no signs it ever will be...

Overall Review: *I have tried several brands of IPCAMS, including Foscam, D-Link, Amcrest and now LaView. I used D-Link the longest, they worked okay for what they were (640x480) OLD cameras that were tough to set up, but were pretty reliable. Recently tried Foscam PTZ which was DOA out of the box. These LaView cams, which are very hit-miss and ultimately unreliable. The most reliable have beem Amcrest PTZ, which are very reliable, offer a boatload of features and are reasonably priced. These LaView cameras are probably rebranded and its possible that with a lot of tinkering I could get them working with another app other than the Pano app. I will investigate further.

Cons: The people running the company can't even keep their servers running that will even allow you to log in to the applications that will allow you to use your camera (they want to spam your email like everyone else, but they can't even keep your login working.)

Overall Review: I WOULD AVOID LAVIEW ENTIRELY... you have been warned.

Cons: Warning to all, the Lano Pano app does not work any more therefore the product is useless as it's can't be setup. Please do you research and check play store and to confirm this!

Pros: Seems to work fine. Fisheye is ok, will take some experimenting to get proper location. Works fine with Blue Iris. Have not done long term tests yet.

Cons: Normally a little expensive. App setup is a bit weird, you have to put yoru wifi creds into the app for it to send to the camera. Hard to find the default password for the web interface. (hint: admin/123456)

Overall Review: Works fine with blue Iris, if you set it up as a LaView LV-D5108AHS RTSP camera, using video url: /H264?ch=1&subtype=0 Overall I'm pretty happy.
