Leadtek GeForce 6800GT 256MB GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card A400 GT TDH

Pros: Great graphics, super heatsink.

Cons: I don't even know where to begin. I had this card for almost a year and a half before it began to have the problems with artifacts like others have encountered. I RMA'd the card and Leadtek sent me not one, but two replacement cards that both were also defective. After 2 months of dealing with bad RMA's, Leadtek stopped returning my emails and phonecalls. I ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and now, almost 3 months later, Leadtek is finally replacing my video card with a 7800GS. This was one of the most frustrating and time consuming endeavours I have had with any company and I would not recommend anyone getting this card unless they are ready for a big headache.

Overall Review: I doubt I will ever buy from Leadtek again, they have no sense of customer service and I have come across several forums filled with customers just like me who have been disregarded by Leadtek. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Pros: Very fast card. Greate frame rate on every game I've played. It got 64 FPS on the Lost Coast video stress test which isn't bad considering that it's in a 3.0 Ghz P4 mahine with 1G ram.

Cons: First card crapped out playing Doom3. It just stopped working. Put my trusty 5200 in while i returned it. I recieved a second card quickly but noticed that it ran on the hot side even with all the cooling. I got an aftermarket CPU cooker from Zallman and havn't looked back.

Overall Review: This is a good performing card but needs work to be reliable. For the money i expected a hastle free part.

Pros: Good cooling, fast

Overall Review: Luckily I bought eh card at NewEgg and they acknowledged the widespread issues with this card and let me RMA. Unfortunately prices had barely changed at all so the card I replaced it with almost a year later was no faster than what I had. Bad luck considering the HUGE timesink dealing with this card turned out to be. If I could bill Leadtek what I charge my customers I could have bought a brand new computer.

Pros: Very fast frame rates when compared with other cards playing BF2 with no clocking straight from the box.

Cons: The heat sink is a selling point that is all look. The card is huge. Without proper support it will end up bending your agp slot and gave us Mother board problems and you will have to move other cards leaving 1 pci slot empty in order to fit this card. It gets hot when running high poly games such as BF2. Other 6800 gt cards that were installed in my game test network have all since failed. The biggest problem is the cheap fan used in the design. 4th one of them failed while play BF2 and the rest gave me the fan problems and over heating.

Overall Review: looks like it will last with hardcore game play. not the case. But the card did make me happy with what i needed them for.

Comments: These series are really bad from NVidia. I am in the middle of RMAing this card again. First oen last 3 months, next one 1.5 months. Worked perfect one night, next boot up my screen was absolutely crazy. Pixels everywhere, very slow to load up, colors when astry, i mean just horrible-even the Asus boot screen had colors and pixils all jumbled. Put in my old 5500 and all perfect. NVidia has a horrible chipset. I own 2 6800 GT from 2 companies and both are garbage. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Unfortunately I can swap out for an AXX, only get another card. Bad product guys.

Pros: Hard to see any right now.

Cons: 1st card ran fine for 6 months since then have had 5rma's that I received bad cards. The 6th rma got a card that worked for 2 weeks and now I have to contact them again. They will not let me trade up or down on cards cause after all these problems I just don't trust that the card will ever work long term.If this had not happened to me I would swear there was no way to get that many bad cards there must be something else wrong. But I trouble shoot comps daily for a mobo mfg. and have a very good knowledge of comps and there is no other problem but Leadtek. I will never ever buy or recommend there products ever again. Run from Leadtec as fast as you can to EVGA where customer service is great.

Pros: Great performance while it lasted. Ran BF2 smooth as silk with all on high.

Cons: Ran excellent... for 5 months, then it was dead. Never overclocked, cooling wasn't the problem, just died. Card also weighs a ton. I had to rig a support for it because it was actually bending the AGP slot downward. Had to change the thermal paste at month #4. (Leadtek uses the cheap thermal stickers.)

Overall Review: Spend a little extra $$$ and get a different manufacturer.

Pros: Fast card, one of the best available for the now extinct AGP slot. Also has decent overclocking potential (past ultra speeds), and good onboard cooling. Running at 425/575 from 350/500.

Cons: First card I received was DOA. Video was artifact-strewn, and the card only booted on one of 3 mobos I tested on. RMA'd and got a working card. Now, the fan has died after less than a year.

Overall Review: I have owned two products from Leadtek, and now gone through 4 RMA's. I will not being buying from Leadtek in the future.
