What is the date of Manufactuer stamped on the box ? Are these fresh issue from Lenovo or a few years old ?

I purchased this in Sept. 2014, and no longer have the box, and there is no date stamped on the battery. It appears to have been new (I bought this for my second Lenovo) and I have had no problems with this or another battery I bought at the same time.
