Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4 82W40026US 12.2" Touchscreen Convertible Chromebook - Intel N-Series N200 - 8 GB - 128 GB Flash Memory - ChromeOS - Intel UHD Graphics - Webcam - Wi-Fi 6E - 4G

The Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4 is a 12.2-inch touchscreen convertible Chromebook with an Intel N200 processor, 8 GB of memory, 128 GB of flash storage, and ChromeOS, suited to students and everyday users working primarily with web apps, documents, and online learning.

Recommended For

• K–12 students who carry a laptop between home and school and mainly use browser-based learning platforms, reading tools, and documents; Lenovo positions the 500e as a compact, rugged classroom convertible.
• Students or mobile workers who need to get online away from Wi-Fi for web-based tasks; this configuration is listed with 4G, though mobile service depends on carrier and plan availability.
• People who switch between typing and touch-based reading, web activities, or handwritten notes; the 360-degree hinge supports laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes. Check whether a pen is included, since Lenovo lists it as configuration-dependent.
• School or home users whose routine is mostly ChromeOS-friendly work—such as online classes, document editing, email, and video calls—rather than demanding desktop applications; community discussion describes it as suitable for basic school tasks.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For schoolwork at home or in class, students can move between a browser, online learning platform, and document editing; it is suited to routine web-based assignments rather than demanding desktop software.
• When Wi-Fi is unavailable, a user can connect through the Chromebook’s 4G LTE option for web-based work or browsing, provided the device has an active compatible mobile-data plan and coverage.
• For reading, presenting, or watching a lesson at a desk, the 360-degree hinge lets the user fold the Chromebook into stand or tent mode; the touchscreen also supports direct on-screen interaction.
• During remote classes or video meetings, the built-in webcam and ChromeOS support everyday calls; image quality and call smoothness will depend on the specific camera configuration, connection, and workload.
• For handwritten notes or marking up class material, the convertible touchscreen can be used with a compatible Lenovo integrated pen, but the pen is sold separately and should not be assumed to be included with this configuration.
• For everyday personal use such as browsing, email, and basic office tasks, the Chromebook is positioned for light web-based computing; a community owner of a related Gen 4 configuration described those kinds of tasks as a fit, though that report is anecdotal and used a different processor and memory configuration.
