Is this pad compatible with WIN7 OS?

I am using it with XP so I am not sure if it will work with 7.  I will know shortly since I am switching to a 7 laptop.

I have not had any issues with its compatibility on a Windows 10 system.

Can you give more information about the new USB interface?  This seems very exciting, does this mean we can finally move away from using an RS232 connection for things?

We used this on our laptops in the shop environment.  Both XP and Windows 7.  These were plug and play.  We have no problems and the laptops don't even have RS232 connections.

The keypad is not programmable, however you can map the keys to buttons on your favorite barmod; used in conjunction with mouse over macros, this can be a highly effective healing setup.
