Great Monitor (Check your USB port Specs)1/10/2020 10:32:44 AM
Pros: - High quality hinge and height adjustment toggle allows you to position screen in ways other portable monitors don't.
- Screen gets pretty bright and has decent pixel response time and color accuracy vs other portable monitors in this price range.
- USB PD (up to 65w) pass through is a nice feature that reduces the number if ports used on the laptop.
- Even with the hinge built in the screen is lightweight
Cons: - Make sure your laptop's USB port supports DisplayPort alternate mode otherwise this monitor will not work (Thunderbolt 3 and other USB ports with the DP logo will work).
- The buttons placed on the sides of the stand portion means there is no easy way to use it in a portrait orientation.
- The included sleeve is poor quality, oversized, and doesn't close. It's probably fine to store the monitor in the sleeve, but I would recommend buying a padded sleeve (fits in most 13" laptop sleeves) to use in a briefcase or backpack.
- Personal preference, but other monitors in this price range are usually 15"
Overall Review: Overall happy with the M14. The built-in hinge and stand make setting it up a breeze. I have a 7th Gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon, so the screen size and orientation match up perfectly (I actually think the screen on the M14 is slightly better than the one on the ThinkPad). Just be aware that your laptop will need to support USB with DP Alt mode and that the included sleeve is poor.

Works great with only a USB-C cable3/28/2022 6:48:04 AM
Pros: It's thin, very lightweight, the built-in kickstand allows it to match the angle of my laptop screen and it charges and receives video both from a single USB-C cord from my Huawei Matebook PRO.
Cons: Its a bit pricey and I wish there were larger portable monitor size options.
Pros: - Dual USB-C Ports for charging / additional input if PC only has one
- Hinge, which I thought would be a con, is really nice - when used with X1 Carbon the screen is the perfect height.
- Pannel is decent, bright
- Extremely portable and uses very little battery power
Cons: - Honestly can't think of a con, very satisfied with this portable monitor, don't think could be more satisfied.
Overall Review: I was looking to purchase a portable monitor for productivity on the go. Looked at quite a few options, including the popular ASUS, and decided to go with the Lenovo, partly because it is being paired with an X1 Carbon, and partly because of the form factor and second USB-C port. Extremely satisfied with the purchase. I will likely be procuring more for members of my team at work.
Pros: It is terrific to have an extra screen for my XPS13 as anyone who uses multiple screen knows. It runs off the power of the XPS13. Set up was pretty straightforward. One caveat is that it is not touch screen, but for the price and the convenience, you cannot beat it.
Cons: it would be nice if it had a plug for back up power. The box said one was included but I did not find it.
Overall Review: I would buy this again, no question.
Pros: This monitor is very thin and light and the hinge has plenty of friction to it so once you set it up it doesn't move. Also it has a little flip down tab at the bottom of the screen to elevate it another inch off of the table top. It is very bright and pretty accurate color wise, very similar to the 1080p panel in my Lenovo X1 Extreme. Awesome product so far.
Cons: The sleeve to put the monitor in is very nice on the inside but has a pretty rough texture on the outside. It looks to be high quality but the rough carpet like finish on the outside isn't great.
Overall Review: Very good fit and finish. Bright and nice color on the panel. Well done Lenovo.
