Pros: thinLightweightmore powerful than it looks
Cons: not upgradeableno thunderboltonly 2 usb3 ports
Overall Review: Not a gaming laptop...but...Its deceptively strong and quiet. the fans are a not whiney, but they are audible.Heat is not as bad as on some laptops, its noticeable but not a furnace, and on a desk with a fanpad you would not have any issue.the only con i can think of is the 8gb ram isn't upgradeable....to my knowledge, unless you are willing to do a board mod, which DEFINITELY isn't warranty safe, and I'm not even sure the bios would detect it if you did. But the APU is very ram dependent, so some higher end games are just going to not run well unless you take some advanced measures and tweaks to prevent Vram usage. This could be a non issue if the thing had a thunderbolt port...external graphics would be wonderful...But this is not a gaming laptop...its a general use laptop, a daily carry. and for that and lite gaming, lite productivity...its maybe one of the best laptops i have experienced at this price, especially great if you got a discount.I feel like its going to age poorly, but for now, with the gpu shortage, and just general chaos in the PC market...its not bad at all.
Pros: The specs are good, and for what it's worth the laptop still works.
Cons: There is a known issue regarding lenovo laptop hinges, they break, and the company does not cover them without a paid warranty
Overall Review: Ordered this item midway through May 2021, and the specs were good, perfect for the limited gaming, and basic computing I normally do. But here in August, 3 months later, I notice the screen bezel detaching from the screen, so plug that into Google, and find that it's a known issue with most models of lenovo laptops. So surely this common problem must be covered under warranty...right, yeah, no, they ruled it my fault for abusing the product(over the course of 3 months of ownership?) it can be fixed but they're going to bill me, call me crazy, but I won't be giving lenovo any money again, I'll find a local business to support, or buy new from a different company. but as I said, it still works, so I'll give it a 2 instead of a 1.
Overall Review: Font color in all web browsers looks so light. It makes eyes very uncomfortable to read.
Pros: - From being shutdown it takes less than 10 seconds to start
- Good build quality, I especially like the textured feeling around the trackpad
- Plenty fast for editing Word documents, looking things up on the internet, Zoom calls, etc.
- Very little bloatware other than McAfee and a Lenovo quick start program, both were quick and easy to remove.
Cons: - The screen isn't great. The viewing angle and brightness aren't very good making using this laptop in the sun pretty much impossible.
- The speakers aren't bad, just not great.
-The webcam is very dull to the point that I thought it was somehow set to black and white at first.
Overall Review: This laptop is a great laptop for getting work done on the go. It's always responsive and I haven't had any issues with it thus far. That being said, the screen is definitely a drawback and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is interested in doing color-sensitive work. This laptop also isn't for you if you're concerned with what you will look like on Zoom on account of the webcam quality. I might have expected a little bit more RAM at this price point, but otherwise, the specs of this laptop make it overall a great experience to use.
An important note is that this laptop is not my main device. I mainly use my desktop but as a college student, I needed something more portable to use in my classes. That being said, I have nothing but positive things to say about the overall experience.
Pros: Light, quiet and good quality for cost. Under battery power the performance is still excellent and good for up to 10hrs.
Cons: There is no room for adding additional hardware. Display viewing angles are not great.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for. This little laptop will do little/medium work loads without trouble.
Pros: Great specs otherwise with the Ryzen 7 and Radeon graphics card.
Overall Review: I just cannot stomach how poor the screen quality is
Pros: lots of good. if you need a basic laptop could be what you need, but see below
Cons: The bottom bezel has seemed a little lose from the start. this am I open it and it bend out even further and when closing it a piece of what I think is the hinge feel off. also concur with other comments about viewing angles.
Overall Review: I have no idea why this happened. It could have been something that was not fitted properly and just over time got worse and worse until something broke. I can't think of anything I did that would be a direct cause. I left it open for a few hours here and there but that's normal right? disappointing because otherwise I really liked it.
Overall Review: This laptop is great for college students!
It does not feel like a budget laptop!
