Does not have an internal Battery. Lenovo does make that feature available in some models, but this one does not have a battery.

Can I get this computer with windows 7 operating system?

Some of the Lenovo IdeaCentres were initially available with Windows 7 - especially the earlier B500 series.  I decided to "tough-out" the Windows 8 learning curve, so I purchased Windows 8 as it's designed to work with the touch screen on the Lenovo B550.

I really like the B550 and recommend Newegg & their excellent Customer Service Support Group.
