Is the OS installed on the 120 GB SSD or the 1 TB hard disk?

Hi. I think (I think) on the SSD. The Windows folder is on the C drive which seems to be 120 GB, while the D drive, the 1 TB, contains the recycle bin, Lenovo folder, and system volume information volume (which won't open). Hope this helps.

Question 3

Will I be able to use two monitors, specifically a DVI and a VGA?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and no. It has two DVI outputs and one HDMI output. It actually has a VGA output but I don't believe it's connected to the graphics card so it didn't work when I tried it. It also has a DP (Display Port) output, though I have not tried that one. So technically you can have 4 monitors. 2 DVI's, 1 HDMI, 1 DP . You also use adapters if you need to go to VGA or other types of monitors.

is it compatible with hp screen?

I'm guessing you mean an HP Monitor.  I don't see why not.  Although I am using a Asus 27 inch monitor, these things are all standardized, at least AFAIK in the USA.  In other countries around the world, possibly not, but I doubt that.  Hope this helps.  If someone told you your question might be true, I would not seek their advice on computers anymore,  :)   .

I've read this computer has a proprietary 10 pin power supply.  How difficult is it to upgrade?

Sorry, haven't felt the need to upgrade the power supply yet. Only RAM, which was very easy.

Question 6

Do you think with these computer specs would i be able to use a 144hz monitor?

It is very tight inside there.  I decided not to upgrade the PS.  I did put in 32GB of matched RAM, but had to remove the video card to do so.  Was going to add a 2TB HD, but there was no mounting parts in the available space to attach the caddy to.  Also, I didn't see an available PS connection for my attempted HD install.  Would suggest a system with a bigger case if you want to mod the box.  Good luck.

There's certainly enough room.  It's a very nice desktop.  I'm assuming you mean add it long enough to copy your data from it?  Or you mean, stick it in and it read the OS and boot from it?  Not really sure about that because you have drivers and everything else to deal with at that point.  It's good product though.  Highly recommend for the price
