the 180 watt power supply appears undersized.  Is there room in the box for a larger one??

180W is perfectly fine for this computer... It's not like an 8 core i7 with an r9 295x2 or something... The i3 uses maybe 50W at full load(including the gpu part of it), RAM is like 5W, motherboard maybe 5-10W, HDD 10W.

Can I add a 960 to this and call it a day? No idea if the 180w PSU is good enough. Might get a cheap logisys supply with it to make it more formidable. 180W is laptop PSU grade.

180W is fine for this computer, but you'd definitely need at least 400W for the 960. any atx power supply should fit this computer.

Yes, and yes. SSD's only use 3-5W, and every computer made in the last 4-5 years uses SATA 3

It comes with windows 7 pro 64 bit.

Is it new or refurb?  Are there additional PCI slots for expansion?  Is there enough space internally for a dual channel video card?  An image of the rear casing and an internal configuration shot would be great.

This is new, If it was refurbished it would say so. There is 1 x16 PCI slot and 3 x1 PCI slots. Theres is more then enough space for a Dual channel video card.
On the back there is from top to bottom, One power hole, One HDMI slot, One DVI slot, 4 USB slots one Ethernet receiver and mic in speakers in and whatever the blue one is for slot.

It has one HDMI connector in the back and has 2 memory slots in it, (Supporting upto 12gigs) It might support more, But im not entirely sure.
