We didn't use the wireless but the specifications for this fabulous machine indicate the it does come equipped for wireless.

Question 2

overview specifies wireless keyboard/mouse. Specs and illustration say wired. Which is it?

Also, one Q&A answer says GPU does not have hdmi, but illustration shows one. Which is it?

It's a "wired" keyboard and mouse (USB for both).  the "wireless" to which you refer is, I presume, the built in wireless networking. I've had it for about a month, great machine and fast. I'm an IT manager and for the price a really good deal. I disconnected the silly "speed indicator" LED's, they shine down to the floor and change color depending on the also silly power save, normal and turbo switch... set it to turbo and forget it. Only possible downside I can think of but there is no HDMI output on the video card just dual DVI's with dual monitor support.  If you aren't planing on watching DVD's or BlueRay's via the computer and outputting sound through it... video capabilities are fine. Hope that helps.

Can I add more RAM?.  12 GB  not enough

As Richard said there are 4 slots. I presume it comes with 3, 4 gig, modules. 
Lenovo says: Up to 32GB DDR3- 1600Mhz (Support Dual Channel) [4 DIMM slots (4GB / 6GB / 8GB / 12GB / 16GB / 24GB / 32GB)
If you dropped in a 16GB module in the fourth slot you'd have it nearly maxed out.
This thing screams out of the box easily and quickly loads resource intensive apps such as Quickbooks and Quark.

AT THE SALES LEVEL:  Can you add the following:  CD drive, Outlook on Line,  MSN, and Microsoft 8.1?

I'm not sure what you are asking.
It already has a DVD+/-RW drive.
The other items are software anyone can add.
I can't believe this powerhouse is still available at this price.

Everything maxed out Exept opengl and vsync because you dont need them you will get in the high 100s to 200s thats with 1.7.4 new settings.

What programs are installed on this computer? Specifically office? Works? Etc.

Lenovo machines don't come with a ton of preloaded crapware or programs. 
That said I'm not aware of any machine that comes with a full, pre-registered, Office suite.

I use 3 monitors.  Can you tell me what the current setup is and what I would need to expand to a 3 monitor setup?

In order to drive 3 monitors you will need to buy a video card that supports that requirement.

According to device manager it's "nVidia High Definition Audio Device."

I cannot really tell you much more than that except that it's off- the motherboard, has an optical out, as well as a coaxial digital, and sounds GREAT hooked up through my home theater setup.

None and it does have a hdmi but thats ingrateded the gpu itself does not have one so no and no its regurlar windows 8 but you can upgrade to 8.1 or pirate it.
