Question 1

I'm interested in purchasing this for a store. We have a TV mounted with HDMI and want to hook a computer up to run a slide show of pictures and promotions. My question is when you turn the TV off does the computer go off as well? We will need to have this device always be on, even when we turn the TV off.

Actually it stays on for a little while and then powers down but I think that it has to do with the settings. Just like with any PC you can change the settings, so it is probably going into sleep mode. What is really cool is when you do power it back on (by just clicking on your wireless keyboard that you buy and connect to a USB hub since there is only one USB port) you see a really cool screensaver photo. So to answer your question it will be on for a while unless you change the power settings in Windows just as you would with any computer. I hope this helps! It's a cool little PC and you can by a 256 micro sd card for extra storage space.

What is the max size of SD card that can be used?.

I have a 256gb micro SD card that sometimes works and sometimes does not. I think it is a function of the actual card itself as I bought it for about 12 bucks on ebay. I think you could use up to that amount or higher because it reads it as a computer would read an SD card since this is Windows 10 based software. I hope this helps! Overall a good little device. It works well with my wireless keyboard with mousepad.  I would suggest buying a usb hub too. Last night I tried it with my Bluetooth headphones and that worked too. I have a BT keyboard that I may try out soon.

is this compatible with any flat screen tv with a hdmi connection?

Yes it is compatible with any newer TV with an HDMI port. Can't vouch for any really old TV, but any of the newer flat screens with an HDMI port should work fine.

Does the device have a recovery partition or the ability to be reformatted?

it is a windows 10 system and it can be recovered but would not recommend reformatting the drive for it may damage the partition it is fully recoverable the way it is, I have add a 64 gig micro sd card and use a 4 port usb hub and run it as I would any other office computer with out issues

Can a Bluetooth keyboard be used with this?

I tried a very cheap one my wife uses with Apple gear and it didn't work. The little Lenovo wireless (not bluetooth) keyboard works ok but is tiny.

can it hook up to a wifi signal?

Definitely, it have no problem with any kind of wifi signal 
Also I bought both Intel and Lenovo computer stick, trust me, buy lenovo, the lenovo's cpu always runs at 2.15GHz, although it says its 1.33GHz. Everything goes very smooth, you can run 3~4 apps at same time and it have better ventilation and more heat sinks.

The intel's computer stick runs at a flow rate, from 0.85~1.3GHz, if you do anything except just watching a youtube video or browsing some random webpage, it will stuck and not responding...

and I really don't understand why Lenovo's product is cheaper than intel's, probably lenovo is the no.1 in oem computer company that sales around the globe.
