does this laptop have a CD/DVD drive?

No it doesn't and I really wish it did as I use this for almost all of my computer needs.  However it does have ample ports for external thumb drives.

Descent laptop for the price. 
You will need to order an external optical drive, MS office and I recommend an external hard drive for backups.

I did buy that laptop, but unfortunately it developed a major defect within the first hour I had it and I had to return the laptop.  I thought it was a good deal in terms of price.  I'm sorry I do not know about the screen, but if you go to the Lenovo web site with that product number I'll bet you can find out.
