Is Win7 HP 32 bit or 64 bit? I'm looking for 32 to allow for some legacy documents.

I don't have it in front of me, but I'm almost certain it's 32-bit. I can confirm later today. Nice machine. My battery is marginal, but no real surprise. Oh, no bloatware. Plain vanilla.

the spec  page does not mention any USB ports...are the any & what speed?

There are 3 ports.  Not sure what speed but it would be safe to assume they're usb 2.0
