Yes.  If you have a wireless router, or a hotspot, then you can connect to the internet without "plugging in."  It does not have a wireless hot spot of its own.

Yes, I have the same model myself and I've always used a wireless mouse with it.

1. What's the resolution? 
2. Which memory is installed? I would like to upgrade the memory to 4GB. Can I use the installed memory with my new memory if I purchase a new 2GB memory?

I am upgraded to 4Gb. Computer hard drive died after 13 months.
