Some times it's more cost effective to buy it with the hard drive . That way you have a valid windows os and recovery partition .

the 3rd 1 (I an not 100% sure on  It is the same length as the 16x but the label on the motherboard has 2 different tags on it

I bought this unit for a client and it is an excellent machine, but there is no monitor included.  Only the tower, keyboard and mouse.

Lenovo says that it can run up to 4 monitors.  The rear display outputs are

You have to call Lenovo customer service(Phone number available in this products reviews).  Tell them and they will send out the disks.  Takes about 3 Days for them to arrive.  Then about 3 hours to install all the new drivers and such.  Well worth it.
