Does the disk controller support Raid-1 (mirrowing)?

yes. but only for windows. no vmware/citrix support. I wouldnt use it for windows either since it has terrible performance. use windows2012 or spend 100 bucks in a real raid card.

does this really come with laptop ram and is this system come prebuilt or in pieces?

It comes with 8GB of server memory, not laptop memory. It is pre-built minus the hard drive(s), operating system and hard drive caddy(s). The caddy(s) to mount the drives are a little hard to find separately. I got them off of a popular bidding site.

Does this server have redundant power supplies (2)?

Sorry for the late reply. I had to actually check at the customer because I couldn't remember. This item does not come with a redundant power supply. It only has one.

hyper threading yes or no?
