Pros: Bright, easy on-screen controls, good number of color adjustments, price.
Cons: The stand is awful; no adjustments, and it's just not rigid enough for my desk to dampen wobbles, even from typing. I'm going to buy a mount (requires a 200x100 VESA adapter) and clamp this monitor to my desk.
Overall Review: Keep in mind that the "Anti-Glare" does not mean "matte finish", which is what someone (including myself) might look for in a monitor. This is very much a glossy screen, just less reflective maybe.
Pros: Personally I think this monitor is awesome. The colors to me are bright, sharp, everything looks clear. I bought this to replace a 23 inch monitor so this thing is huge. It has a glossy screen, not a flat mat screen which I prefer, the graphics and colors to me are so much better on a glossy screen.
Cons: its only 60mhz which is fine for a lot of mmos which is what i normally play, but honestly we cant knock down the rating because of this on a 200 dollar monitor that is 32 inches It has one button, which controls power and the on screen settings, i would prefer separate buttons but it's really not a big deal so wasnt enough to lower the rating.
Overall Review: Overall, i couldnt be happier with this monitor. It is much better than i imagined it would be for this price. I run 2 monitors, this one replaced a 23 inch, and i still have another 23 inch which will be replaced by another one of these. Absolutely zero regret getting this monitor. If you are overly picky and expect the best tho, you really should look into the 700-900 dollar range where you can get 4k, and maximum refresh, you seriously cant expect that from a 200 dollar monitor. This one does everything I would want, and i think the picture and motion on it is amazing. I would recommend this monitor with no hesitation.
Pros: - Price (Roughly $220 per) - Slim build and border bezel - Bright LEDS
Cons: - Only one HDMI and one VGA input, was hoping for more choices such as DVI or Displayport but still serviceable. - One dead pixel on each monitor, very disappointing, they're not in prominent places and it's too much hassle to return large packages so I chose to live with it, still very disappointing for an LG product though.
Overall Review: I bought two units to dual screen, refresh rate, clarity, and brightness all good, I use it for editing, Photoshop, gaming, movies, all looks great. As mentioned above the dead pixel on the monitors knock down two 2 eggs, but it was a good price for a 31.5" monitor. I was expecting better from the LG name though.
Pros: Vibrant color, easy set up, and big-screen.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: For $169 it's a steel. I'm not a gamer but I do do a lot of video editing. Video playback is absolutely beautiful on this monitor. I found no saturation of colors or any ghosting. Not many ports but I only need one.
Pros: bright colors.. big.. easy on the eyes.. i went through the setup menus to adjust it for my preferred viewing and usage and its been great so far. ive tried FutureMark and a couple of 3d games(Skyrim/Enderal and Wolfenstein Old Blood) and it appears sooth to my eyes.(i was worried there may be ghosting, but none so far)
Cons: no issues so far.
Overall Review: thought about getting another one to use as a spare room TV.. (just add HDMI output tuner)
Pros: easy setup no problems
Cons: if only the stand would tilt one more notch
Overall Review: got 3 of these in a semi circle.Perfect.I don't play games so I can't help you with that. But the movies and tv shows are super.
Pros: I'm not a hard core gamer so this review is for the average/intense user. I had a two monitor setup and this will take the place of both monitors. Very easy setup and very light weight. Very fast shipping from Newegg too. Just a quick heads up if you are considering this monitor. I knew that the monitor was NOT anti-glare even though the description says it is. But I'm in a room where this will not be an issue. So be aware if you are in a room that you may glare. I think the display looks better without the anti-glare coating anyway.
Cons: Not really a con, but they included a 15 pin VGA, but not a HDMI. I really most users are using HDMI, Displayport or DVI now days. So you will need a HDMI cable or an adapter if your graphics card doesn't have VGA or HDMI.
Overall Review: If I had room for two I wouldn't hesitate getting another LG 32MP58HQ-W.

Pros: Huge monitor, great color, nice stand and screen not TOO shiny. I'll be using this as my main monitor for e-mail, web browsing, very occasional light photo-editing ( I have a whole separate dual monitor system for photography work). I color calibrated this monitor with my i1 Pro monitor calibrator and the colors are perfect. GREAT deal! Buy one.
Cons: Nothing at this time, seems great
Overall Review: Yes I would recommend to a friend YES I would re-purchase this monitor
