No - no extras with this one. Not even a battery for the remote. It has one port in back for an HDMI cable, and one port in front for a USB flash drive which it says it can play movies off of, though I have not tested this.

dear corrine, you can download a manuel for bp135 from lg site. the recording to usb is a error. you can play  prerecorded usb content withthis player, not record with it

Are there any external audio ports and if so what type??
Will the USB port accept USB computer Speakers?

No, just HDMI.  I think the USB port is just for multimedia data transfer and won't work just for sound.
