This phone comes with a battery, usb cable, and a adapter that allows the usb cable to plug directly into a standard US 2-prong wall outlet

Can calls be made by voice activation?

Yes!  One of the included apps is "Voice Dialer".  You press the app and the app says "Listening", then you say "Call Joe" (or whoever you want to call).  You will need to touch the screen to confirm that it's the person you want.  It seems to work well.

what is the keyboard on this for texting?

It's an on-screen keyboard.  I installed the Swype + Dragon app from the Google play store and it works well on this phone.  The free Swype keyboard is compatible also. It may take a little getting used to but after a bit it's very easy and fast.  And just like it's fancier smartphone relatives it'll get you with auto-correct if you're not careful--my most recent was swyping "kiddies" which appeared on-screen as "misfits" (not entirely inappropriate ;-) ).

Are the minutes and service time on my current tracfone transferable?

yes, they are. do NOT activate the Optimus first. follow the instructions 1.2 as given in the TracFone Guide included with the new Optimus. If you do not have an online TracFone account, create one first with your old phone. You can transfer time, service days and current phone number after that to the new Optimus.

1.78GB internal storage is built-in. Not much room for larger apps, but otherwise you can slap in a microSD card for data storage. Hope that helps.

not sure what you're asking. your current phone time and minutes and phone number can be transferred to the new Optimus following instructions 1.2 in the TracFone Guide. Create an online TracFone account with your current phone first, the follow the instructions for transferring. do NOT activate the new phone first.

Go to the tracfone website and enter your zip code when prompted. You'll be given a list of phones that are compatible with the services in your area. If I'm remembering right, this one uses Verizon service.

Yes - phone has camera and the pictures can be attached to text messages and to email.  It is android so you can also sync and share the pictures using Google apps automatically.
