Is this one brand new in box?

Yes. It is completely sealed and brand new in the LG packaging. And I bought it in June 2014 and have had no problems. I have really enjoyed using this Bluetooth headset not only for talking on the phone but also for listening to music and Internet radio.

How you you describe the quality of the microphone? can callers hear you whisper? can they hear you in a conversational voice in a quiet room? or does everyone turn their heads when you use this headset because you are speaking too loudly to attract their attention?

Whisper? No... When new, I could speak in a low voice and easily be heard. Pepple I called said the sound quality was much better than the phone. After a few months, people are now having problems hearing me unless I speak up - to a voume too loud for a cube farm. I am wondering if it is dirt/dust accumulating in the microphone hole, but haven't found a way to clean it yet.

Can this headset be connected via bluetooth to a cell phone and a computer at the same time allowing you to watch video on the computer and still be able to answer phone?

It connects to both my smartphone and my laptop at the same time.  However, the laptop connection occasionally drops.

What does the charger look like? I think my package was missing the charger for the HBS-800.

From what I've read, it was "missing" because it doesn't come with one.  It just comes with a USB charging cable (with a Micro USB end).  You plug it into either a computer, or to your cellphone charger (assuming the charger uses USB).
