Question 1

I already bought two of these because of the amazing cyber Monday price.

However, I am curious to know if the "feet" are removable so that once mounted on a wall mount they don't stick out and look silly. I would assume they do, but I have been let down before.

Anyone already have one and know?

Yes.  The TV will come with the feet unattached and comes with attachment screws.  You can just leave them detached.

Question 2

Looking at the rear picture of the television, I spotted what looks like a digital audio (optical) jack. This conflicts with the specs listed.
Is the picture of the back offered goes with this particular model?
I'm interested to know if this model has a digital audio output.

This model does not have ANY audio or video outputs, only inputs. Not even a headphone jack. You have to use the built-in speakers.

Question 3

I only have a shelf that is 26" wide, will the feet fit on this? Or what do the feet measure out to out?

TV specifications are:  38.20" x 24.60" x 7.80" and it would appear the legs go all the way to the TV's edge.  In other words, your shelf needs to be approximately 38.20" wide.  Bummer - I have a 34" stand.

can a speaker set be hooked up to this tv?

I have surround sound hooked up via receiver and HDMI cable if that's what you mean...

Can you play videos (mp4\mkv) from the USB drive?

I just use to play photo and music. I can't find the video menu from the USB drive.
