Does this TV have DVD player combo?

Is this tv good for gaming & is there motion blur ?

I use this tv with my ps4 it has absolutley no motion blur. However it does reflect a fair amount of light in a bright room so if your gameing by the window get use to looking at yourself.

The USB port says it is an 'input'.  What file types does it support for playback from a USB flash drive?

From what I remember reading when I bought the TV, the USB port only supports photos and music. I'm pretty sure video playback is not supported although I haven't tried.

Question 4

Under the specs it lists HDMI: 1080i.  Does that mean this TV has to use component connections to reach its 1080p potential?  Looking to use as a monitor and obviously dont have component connections.

You can google 1080p vs. 1080i and you'll find out more.

The short answer is basically, but not quite. It's still 1080. There are some subtle differences between 1080i and p, but human eyes can barely detect that stuff.

I can vouch for the fact that the screen is gorgeous, since it's the one I use everyday. I've never connected it to a computer, though, but I use blu ray at 1080 it displays wonderfully.

Question 5

What type of LED backlighting is this? Edge lit, full array with local dimming, or full array without?

It's "full array" in the sense that it is direct-lit backlighting, but there is no local dimming. The LEDs are in fact behind the screen and there is a diffusion layer, which is why this TV is a bit thicker than others. It might not be "full array" as you expect from the newer and more expensive models.
