Pros: Great Product, no bugs or problems. Burns my CD's and DVD's nicely, and it came with a power cable, SATA cable and a Nero Express CD to get the drive up and running. No problems so far.

Cons: None, worth the money, get a second if u have a chance.

Overall Review: Best bang for the buck!!!

Pros: Great drive! I've bought other LG drives and never had a problem with them. This one's performance is right on par. No major complaints. No coasters from about 28 burns with this one.

Cons: As much as I like LG's series of drives, the only "bad" thing I can say about them is the spin up time. It still takes like 10-15 seconds to recognize the disc sometimes. Other than that, it's a perfect drive.

Overall Review: Very happy with LG and their drives. Will keep buying them until things change.

Pros: Burnt a DL dvd. The media was only 4x. Burnt some dvd+r's. Only had it one day, nice that flat ribbon cable went sailing out the window onto neighbors roof.

Cons: It did not work @ first. Not detected in the bios either. I used a data cable that was in the bottom of the pc connectd to the mainboard. The burner worked when I used the data cable they sent free with the drive. My cable was either defective or full of crud.

Overall Review: Came with a data cable, power cable and a cd with nero express, power dvd, power producer, and incd. NEW EGG ROCKS,

Pros: Bought 2 and they both work as advertised backing up 1 & 2 layer DVDs. Haven't tried CDs. Very very quiet. Good high speed burn rating from cdinfo.

Cons: Green LED for read, green LED for write. Guess, they saved a penny on a single vs dual color LED.

Overall Review: FW is CL00 and there are no upgrades that I could find. Region code was not set; I set it using DVD Decrypter. Bought 2 so I could backup up my DVD collection easily using AnyDVD. This is a really great setup and uses almost no CPU, HD, or time. No more decrypt to HD and no more compress to HD prior to burn. Just copy D: E: they way (insert supreme being of your choice here) intended DVD backups to be :) Used it to test motherboard by booting Ubuntu 7.04 desktop prior to installing hard drives during a recent build (GA-P35 DS4) - no problems there.

Pros: For starters its SATA, that's a plus right there. No more IDE master/slave speed issues. It's a nice speed, lets me burn full dvd's in no time at all, plays dvd's and games nice, fast and quiet, and hasn't given me any problems whatsoever. The bundled software's pretty spiffy too. I've really made a point of using and abusing it :-)

Cons: It doesn't come in silver to match my pretty case. Oh well.

Overall Review: If you're looking for a good, affordable, fast SATA dvd burner with an added bonus of useful bundled software, go with this. Pros: Love the idea of SATA for optical drives. Eliminates all hassle of "On-The-Fly" copying and copying more than 1 dvd/cd at a time. Drive flys and does what I expect it to do.

Overall Review: E6750 @ 3.4 with AC Freezer 7, 2GB G-skill DDR2800 (4-4-3-5), 8800GTS 640MB

Pros: It just plain works. I haven't had any failed burns with it, it reads and writes at or near the advertised speeds on all of the burns I've done, including DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, CD-R, CD-RW. Immediately recognised in BIOS (My only previous flirtations with SATA optical drives were nightmarish) and installed Windows without a hitch. Colour is spot-on with my Antec Solo case, and the logos are a subtle silver-gray instead of look-at-me white. I'm stretching to find anything else to gush about this...

Cons: Could throw in an SATA cable, but I really didn't need it anyway, so not really a con...

Overall Review: I guess it comes down to brand preference. I haven't been able to wear out a single drive from H-L Data Storage (Hitachi-LG), so I figured, why mess with success?

Pros: SATA, quiet, solid. No issues with the installation; completed in 20 minutes. Went in as easy as can be. Vista Home Premium recognized the drive model and installed the appropriate drivers... true plug and play.

Cons: none so far.
