Yes, and I had to use it as I only had a full size sim fron a few years back. You can activate the new sim on t-mobile website for no charge if you had service with them already.

I just signed up for a new line, and it works fine.  The phone comes with a prepaid SIM card.  You can call T-mobile and they will activate it for free, or you can probably use your existing T-Mobile SIM card (its a micro-sim that is required).

Yes it does, and a rather good one to. I can actually hear it at work, and work has a pretty loud air conditioner

The phone is for T-Mobile (i suppose it could be unlocked) which did not matter to me (I have TM).

It uses the micro sim card... The phone does come with a T-Mobile sim card in case your current one does not fit.

I had a C6-01 Nokia and the sim did not fit so I had to use the one supplied with the phone. BTW is very easy to transfer T-Mobile account to the new sim via on-line or over the phone.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

BEFORE you activate the sim (if yours does not fit) transfer your existing data to the SD CARD...or else you will most likely be UNABLE to retrieve any data that is stored on the original SIM...

Is this unlocked , no contract?, Can we use any prepaid sim card in it?

The phone comes with a sim that is contract oriented.  You do NOT need to have a contract to have a T-Mobile service, but you will need a non-contract card from T-Mobile to make the phone work if you are using unlimited text and talk.
Try phoning T-Mobile and getting an answer from them regarding this question for an exact answer.  You can get their phone contact online by googling for it.

Can I use this phone with my existing Tmobile pay as you go sim plan?

Yes. Any T-Mobile SIM card will work. If the size is different, just take the phone to a local store where the staff will replace it with a new SIM card that would fit into this phone. Good luck.

I'm on a T-Mobile prepaid plan, can I take my sim from my previous phone and pop it in this? I have a full sim by the way.

Yes and no.  Yes the phone will work on a prepaid plan, no a full size sim won't fit.  It takes either a micro- or nano-sim (micro I think), but I was able to activate a new sim on my t-mobile account (deactivating the old one) when I got a phone that used a smaller sim card.  the phone should come with a new sim card that you can activate.  Alternatively, you could TRY to cut your sim card to fit, but that is not easy and I wasn't able to get it just right when I tried.

No, it is not unlocked. It is a T-Mobile phone. You can unlock it however. Congress just passed a bill that ensures that carriers must unlock your phone if you no longer have a contract and the phone is yours (you've paid it off). You can call T-Mobile to request it be unlocked. I haven't done this however, since I have T-Mobile as my carrier.
