Question 1

How does the speakers work?  Loud enough to hear from 5 feet away?  10 feet?

I am very satisfied with this unit, however I would not purchase this based on speaker quality.  The speakers are loud and yes you can hear them from 5ft to 8ft away, BUT again this is more of a bonus to have speakers not that they reproduce quality sound--- maybe it would be good for projecting a Skype video voice call, or any news broadcast not for listening to music, or movie sound.  I would recommend a higher quality Bluetooth speaker for that.  I compared the audio of this unit with audio from a competitors small form factor projector and the sound was about the same.

The LG PB60G does not have Miracast interface.  However, with most of the Samsung Galaxy phones, you can project using a micro HDMI to regular HDMI cable, a widely available cable which doesn't cost a lot.  Miracast is used mainly with Samsung products, such as their TV's, but not a standard widely adopted by other manufacturers of either TV or projectors.

Question 3

I do presentations at meetings.  Would this projector display adequately on a screen in a boardroom/meeting or classroom where lighting is lowered but not totally dark with Large font Power Point presentations?  Thanks

Honestly I can't say for sure. I can only tell you that in my room, at 8 feet from the screen, it looks really nice on a 100" screen for movies and television at night, with very little ambient lighting in the room. At 80" size it was brighter and so for a business presentation I guess it all depends how large a size (how far you go) you want. I would assume at 60 inches you'd be able to have much more room lighting on.
You'd still see graphs I would guess, they just get washed out with more and more room light.
For my purposes, this little projector is amazing at what it can do.

It is small so would be easy to transport, but I can't say for sure if it would suit your needs. I guess people would see charts and large text with some room light on. It feels very solid and well made to me. And has so many adjustment menu's.

Question 4

What remote(s) does this include?  does it include an antenna?

Has a small, full featured remote. Much easier to control with remote than the buttons on top of the projector. They are touchy.

Has no antenna since this model is just a projector. No tuner, WiFi, etc. LG website states this is a discontinued model. It appears to be the basic projector used in several current models that include features like TV tuners, Wifi and other features at additional cost.

Newegg must have gotten the last of these. It has full warranty so I was fine with it being discontinued. Works great using VGA connector and computer set to 1280x800 native resolution. Have had for a week and not tried other computer resolutions. Worked well direct connected to point-and-shoot camera using HDMI connection. Needs darkened room for best picture but the image is great. Focus wheel needs readjust as it warms up and has backlash and poor feel but it is still focuses well if you are careful.

What is required to make this projector work with Miracast and/or WiDi? Specifically does it require extra hardware like a WiFi USB dongle or some other device?

Your laptop or device needs to have WiDi capability.  You can also purchase a WiDi USB dongle.  But why would you do that if you can just connect with HDMI?  WiDi is useful only if you have that capability built=in on your laptop or tablet.

Question 6

Is there any difference in the LG PB60G, compared to the LG PB63U? If so what is the differences? Im trying to decide which one to buy.

The PB63U has a built in tv tuner and wireless display capability. Obviously if you have cable or satellite tv the tuner won't do you much good.

I don't have any personal experience about Intel widi wireless display, sounds good in theory to eliminate wires

Is this a 3D projector?

Technically it is a 3D ready projector, what that means is if you supply the exact type of 3D signal to it, I believe from a computer at the proper resolution and 120Hz, then it will control a pair of DLP Link type 3D glasses to switch which eye can see the image, back and forth really quick.
It does this by activating the glasses with a flash of light between frames at 120Hz (faster than our eyes can see the light) and that is how the glasses sync up with the 3D images.
I personally haven't tried this yet but from what I read this is what is needed for it to show 3D. It isn't as easy as connecting to a 3D bluray player, so it can do 3D but not Bluray 3D from what I understand.

I am wondering if this projector would be compatible with Windows 8?

Shouldn't care about OS but I don't have Win8. I am using computers running Puppy Linux, Vista and XP and using the VGA port (not tried computer with HDMI port) and just setting video to native projector 1280x800 resolution. Image looks great. Tried point-and-soot camera connected to HDMI port and it worked well. Have been using for about a week.
