Pros: -Quad Dac for listening to high end headphones -Dolby DTS (surround sound) which sounds like a good implementation of some of the virtual 7.1 surround sound that you get with some gaming headphones. -Solid screen -Good battery life -Wide Angle Camera
Cons: -Speaker for phone sounds worse than my Moto Z3 Play which has a bad-sounding speaker anyways -Wouldn't update even though the phone was on Android 8.0 and it should have had updates to 9. To solve this part I did some research and I had to download this program called LGUP which I'm assuming is a manufacturer's program for refurbishing/resetting phones, to update to 9.0. This could be because I'm not on AT&T, which was the original network provider for this phone.
Overall Review: - I would recommend this phone to someone who wouldn't be afraid to do some tinkering with the software (which to be fair puts the phone at risk of becoming a paper weight) and someone who won't listen to a whole lot of music via the speaker on the phone. -Also I haven;t done this yet so I don't know for sure but buying from a third party seller on this website and not from AT&T or an authorized seller may disqualify us from getting that second year of warranty. Again not sure but this was my first impression when I visited the second year warranty registration website, I'll update this whenever I get around to registering the phone with LG and let you guys know.
