It's a new generation SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) card. No customer-specific information-like contacts, address book, or account information, photos, or personal data- is stored on this card.

hi: is this the Volt LS740 or the F90?  are they the same fone? or different?   some cases i want to buy... say specifically 1 or the other...thx!

I believe they are indeed the same phone. Originally this phone was released by by Sprint and Tmobile. According to my research, the phone released then was modeled the LG F90. When they were released by Virgin and Boost Mobile, their model became known as the LG LS740. I think the model number differs because of the carrier but in terms of hardware, these two phone models seem to be the same. I own the LS740 and believe that I have been cheated out by the description in Newegg and Virgin Mobile's website claiming that it has 1GB Ram. The F90 is known to have 512MB Ram and I do feel that this is the same capacity the LS740 works in. After installing more than a few high memory apps, KitKat 4.4.2 starts slowing down. The icons on the screen take more than a split second to appear. Opening and closing apps or phone features like the phone book are noticeably slower. If you factory reset it, it works like new. I tried to run just the google services; including Google Drive, Documents, Quick Office, Chrome, Chrome Remote Desktop, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Maps, and Google Play Music. I discovered that running Google Maps and Google Play Music at the same time while on the road seemed to slow the phone's responses down if a third app, a phone call, or a text message were to be answered or run on the main screen. I have read in the android forums about ways to try and make this a more robust phone but I have not tried it yet as I went ahead and purchased a tablet to do the things that this phone is not able to handle well.

How much internal memory?

It advertises 8GB ROM memory but after all the OS and junk you only get around 3.93GB. Also, I'm not sure if it's an issue with my own phone but after filling at least 2GB of the memory, I've found that it started to slow down a lot.

I purchased an LG Volt and I am curious, did anyone else only have 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage? Mine didn't come with the standard 8 GB

My buddies came with the 8 gb,  urs may be 8gb also just minus the os and all the bloat ware they shove into it does urs say 4 gb avail ? Or does it show 2 or 3 gb avail? If 2 or 3 then u got the 4 gb model
