The Hamilton Buhl SCG-AMV is a light-blue, over-ear headset with a gooseneck microphone, in-line volume control, and 3.5 mm TRRS plug, suited to classroom listening, testing, and voice communication on compatible devices.
Recommended For
- Schools and testing coordinators equipping students for online assessments or classroom activities that require both listening and spoken responses; the headset combines a gooseneck microphone, volume control, and a classroom-oriented design.
- Students or learners using a tablet, Chromebook, or other device with a single 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack for lessons, language practice, or voice-based apps.
- Teachers, libraries, or families sharing headsets among users who need washable, replaceable ear cushions and a reclosable storage bag for between-use care.
- Learners or remote participants who want a wired headset with a flexible gooseneck mic and an on-cord volume control for voice tasks at a desk.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- During a computer-based classroom test, a student can listen to test audio and speak into the gooseneck microphone when the assessment calls for a spoken response, using a compatible device with a 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack.
- In a language-learning or reading activity, a student can hear lesson audio privately and use the boom microphone for spoken practice or responses, without needing a separate microphone.
- For a classroom lesson on a Chromebook, Mac, or PC with a compatible 3.5 mm TRRS port, a student can follow audio or video and adjust listening volume from the headset cable.
- When a school shares headsets between students, staff can replace or wash the ear cushions and use the included reclosable bag for storage, making routine upkeep easier.
- For at-home schoolwork or remote instruction, a student can listen to a lesson and speak through the headset microphone on a compatible device with a 3.5 mm TRRS connection; devices without that jack may need an adapter.
