LITE-ON SK-1688U/B Black 104 Normal Keys USB Wired Standard Keyboard

Pros: This is a pretty good keyboard for the amazing price. Bought it to replace my old PS/2 keyboard. Not "clicky," has a smooth key depression. What can I say? It just works!

Cons: The only thing that was disappointing was the absurdly short cord for it. Managed to get it connected but I don't know if it would connect to a desktop readily.

Pros: I bought this a few months back when I bought my new computer, I blew the budget on the graphics cards, so I was looking for something cheap that would last me a couple weeks till the next paycheck... Turns out I was wrong. This is one of those rare things that you don't get what you pay for, this keyboard has far exceeded my expectations. Here I am typing a review on it 4 months later and have no issues with sticky keys, dead keys, or not being able to type a command on it, or even while playing video games like Crysis or Left 4 Dead on it. It feels good to type on, and doesn't have loud annoying keyclicks. It's pretty solid, smashed it around pretty good a few times when I couldn't kill someone in a game.

Cons: Two things: 1. The enter key is one of the small ones. 2. When windows doesn't get shut down properly and my system reboots the screen where it lets you select to boot windows regularly, safe mode, ect ect.. the keyboard doesn't work and have to wait 30 seconds for it to auto choose to boot normally.

Overall Review: It's no 100$ keyboard, but this is probably the best 7$ I've ever spent in my life.

Pros: It is a keyboard that works and does the job. I am quickly becoming a fan of the LITE-ON keyboards because they are low priced but I have not been having any issues with them. This is about the fourth purchased and the oldest one I have in service is about 2 years old with no issues.

Pros: For $6.99 plus shipping I have never gotten more bang for my buck. It worked when I plugged it in. Keys are nice and quiet. This keyboard may be the start of many great things to come. Newegg rocks!

Cons: I don't have any more computers for which I could buy this keyboard.

Overall Review: I spilled maple syrup on my old one. Don't eat pancakes at your computer.

Overall Review: The keyboard is surprisingly quiet, and it has a really good feel when typing. Best money spent in a while. It is a bit heavier than other cheap keyboards; doesn't really matter but I thought I would mention that.

Overall Review: I bought this to be a cheap replacement to a wireless keyboard that kept dropping signal. Well, I got what I paid for. I wanted to primarily game with this keyboard, but it can only send 2 two keys at a time. That is not nearly enough. Don't buy this if you're playing a game that uses wads for movement. You won't be able to do the things you need to do, like running and jumping sideways at the same time!

Pros: - Compact build but full size - Classic keyboard layout with no extra buttons - Solid construction and decent plastic materials - Extremely affordable - Medium weight feedback - Moderate key travel - Moderate keyboard noise, but not silent - Key letters and surfaces do not appear to be fading after a few months of heavy use - this is a good sign - No styling gimmicks beyond a slight curve at the top and bottom - Light weight, but stays firm on desk with rubber feet

Cons: - Short cord - Shipping is slightly pricey

Overall Review: This far surpasses all keyboards at this price range, and is quite a bit better compared to dozens of more expensive keyboards. You can easily spend two or three times this much on a name brand keyboard and not get a better device. I might get two while I can still find a classic keyboard at this excellent price. Reminds me of my favorite keyboards from the 1990s, but at 2010s thrift store prices.

Pros: This is a decent keyboard for the price. Cheap to replace for users that are hard on their equipment

Cons: The cord is way too short, especially if you have the tower on the floor and not directly beside or under the area when you sit the keyboard
