Question 1

Hi.  I am interested in this keyboard.  I bought a Logitech wireless a few years ago with the mouse.  Will I need a new mouse with this keyboard?  I works perfectly now.

The keyboard has nothing to do with your mouse working or not.  Is your mouse wireless, USB, PS/2? It should work separately without issue, however, if it uses the unifying receiver you can pair the mouse with the same one the keyboard uses.

Question 2

In the video on newegg it show a guy unboxing the keyboard and the backlit went off after a few seconds of no use.  Is there anyway to prevent it from going turning off like that?  Or maybe somehow increase the time in which the backlit will turn off?

I'm aware that it's motion sensitive so when you move your hand it'll turn back on but that's not something I want to have to keep doing.

there's automatic illumination with hand detection which is a non-modifiable timer, or you can have the illumination activated when a key is pressed for which you can extend the illumination time up to ten minutes after a keypress.

before ordering i wanted the same control over the illumination you seek and was disappointed the software didn't include it, but having lived with this keyboard a while, the automatic illumination seems completely adequate.

you don't even actually have to touch the keyboard to activate the illumination, you can just wave your hand over it. any contact with it also turns it on.

its actually pretty good detection and personally have never felt the need during use for anything more.

the one thing i would like is for the illumination level to stay where i set it between sessions, but that's my only gripe.

Question 3

Wireless range from computer?

I can be anywhere in  my office, which is about 10 feet away from my desk, and it will work.  As a test I went two rooms away and line of sight to the unit was lost and it still worked.  Distance was about 25 feet.

The only issue I ever had was when the USB receiver was connected at the back of the PC at floor level.  In this location, typing was sometimes delayed but not dropped.  I just moved the receiver to my USB hub which is on an adjacent desk and I have never had any more problems.

Does this kb work with Windows 8?

Yes.  I use mine with Windows 8 before I upgraded to Windows 8.1.  I have no issue with it in either version.

Are keys replaceable?

Don't know because I haven't bothered to find out. Mine is missing 2 keys -- keyboard has fallen many many times in the two years I've been using it. Although, if it's been in hard use for two years, and the charge continues to be longlasting & strong, I guess I'd definitely recommend the K800.

Does this keyboard have a light showing that the caps lock is on?

Yes.  The caps lock key has a light on it and the screen momentarily displays a message when it is turned off or on.

are the keys unnecessarily loud when pressed or is this a more quiet keyboard?

This board is very quiet.... I am very pleased with its layout and the fact that it illuminates in low or no light rooms and does so just by approaching it with your hands then turns off after a time when not used! Get it... you wont have regrets...

Is this good for win10? io just read about the other one fopr 64.99 whichis hte same and does not say win 10 ... anyone know?

Perfectly fine for Windows 10 Home/Pro. One thing to note is that this keyboard is incredibly sensitive to having ANY sort of liquid on it. Spilled a little bit of coffee on the keyboard and it died immediately. If kept dry, an excellent keyboard, backlighting was very nice and not too bright and key modulation was quiet with pleasant tactile feel. Also, no wires, which is a good thing.

VERY Thin, fits easily on my roll out keyboard drawer under my desk.  Probably about 1.5 inches thick IF you Lift up the flip tabs on the back to angle the keyboard up slightly at an angle for more ergonomic typing.

I am impressed with this keyboard, in that it is well laid out, the lighting is great and brightness adjustable, and it can be used wirelessly.  I have found that the AAA Batteries last a good while too....I work on my pc so am using the keyboard for 8+ hours a day.  I replace the batteries, when notified...(another cool feature)  about every 4-5 weeks.Roughly 26 in x 8 in x 3/4 of an inch thick.

Not good for win10?

Works fine with Windows 10. Keyboard has a recharge light that indicate three levels of battery charge. Internal battery lasts about 2 weeks when board is on constantly before it needs recharging. Keyboard can be used while plugged into the charger that it comes with. Keys light up with variable, controlled brightness. "Key touch" is a matter of personal preference. I find it great. Keys have good depression depth and are silent, no "audio "click" on depression. Layout is standard but keys are decent size and accommodate big fingers.  Posted price as of this date (02/25/2019) of $58.99 is a good deal. Grab it! ;)
