How many people have issues with the delay in the first key? Where, if you leave the keyboard for more than 4 or 5 minutes it loses contact with the USB receiver. Logitech now calls it a "power save feature", as if a keyboard that uses a couple of AA batteries a year needs a power save mode).

It is indeed a power save feature, so it occurs in 100% of these keyboards. And it goes to sleep much quicker than 4-5 minutes, it's closer to 1-2. I hung onto mine for months and months assuming that a software update would come out allowing us to disable the feature, but none has - to the best of my knowledge. I gave up about a month ago and got the Logitech K840.

Two other things to note:

1. the mouse seems to suffer from the same issue. After a couple of minutes it will go to sleep and the first couple of scrolls on the scroll wheel will do nothing. This is a lot easier to get used to that the keyboard going to sleep though.

2. The media keys aren't compatible with Google Music out of the box. A tiny foible, but the media keys on the K840 are, which I took as a boon.

This is the first review I've ever written anywhere for anything, to give you an idea of how annoying that sleep feature is. I would have just sent it back but I thought there was no way there wouldn't be an update for it, and I sat on this keyboard past my return window; now it's just sitting in a box gathering dust.
