Does it work on double-pane windows?
Not recommended for double-pane windows. Designed primarily for single-pane glass, as double-pane windows may cause reflection or glare issues. Performance depends on the lighting conditions of the installation environment.
Can this camera see clearly at night through a window? Will it reflect off the glass?
LongPlus window cameras use AI Black-light Full-Color Night Vision, eliminating the need for IR lights and preventing reflections. Traditional cameras rely on IR lights, which create harsh white glare on glass, leaving the outside completely dark.
Does it require a subscription?
No. Local storage is supported and no monthly subscription is required.But you need a SD card.
Can I adjust the motion detection area?
Yes. You can freely choose the detection area to reduce notifications from roads/streets you don't care about.
Will this adhesive melt and cause the camera to detach under direct sunlight in summer?
No. The window camera uses a special adhesive that adheres more firmly in high temperatures and direct sunlight. It can also withstand temperatures as low as -4? in winter.
